Norman Putsure College hosts annual campus fest
DIMAPUR — Norman Putsure College (NPC), Chümoukedima, celebrated its annual campus fest, a lively event attended by students, faculty and visitors from several local institutions on October 30.
An update from the college stated that the college’s literature, adventure and art clubs engaged attendees with various activities throughout the morning session.
The highlight of the day included two workshops.
It stated that Aspire Academy offered insights into civil services and conducted a free mock interview for students, while Seyie Design, an interior design company based in Los Angeles, USA, conducted an interior design workshop, providing students with a unique international perspective. Notably, Seyie Design’s owner, Seyie Putsure, who is also the college’s co-chairman, was present to interact with students.
The event also featured an annual hide-and-seek competition, where North Town Higher Secondary School emerged victorious, taking home the trophy.
The informal session in the afternoon showcased an array of talents from Norman Putsure College students, who performed solos, dances, musical pieces, duets and cosplay.
It added that special guest performances by Shofar Music Academy, PAWF Nagaland, Savizo, Mwapang, Rovi Metha and Coffee, Kezia Rai and Sentiein Kichu added energy and diversity to the evening.
Throughout the day, students hosted jukebox, food and games stalls and free refreshments were provided to everyone.
The fest concluded on a memorable note with a lantern show, marking the end of an eventful day of learning, creativity and camaraderie, it stated.
Among others, students and staff from nearby schools and colleges including St. Joseph Higher Secondary School, Hebron Higher Secondary School, North Town Higher Secondary School, Patkai Christian College, Tetso College and ICFAI University Nagaland attended the campus fest.
