Liviana wins Dorians Society spelling bee contest

DIMAPUR — Liviana Aye, a Class 8 student of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School (DBHSS), Dimapur, has won the Dorians Society spelling bee competition 2024 held at Kingdom Culture Church in Dimapur on Saturday.

Rahul Ahmed, a class 8 student from Cambridge School, Dimapur, and Anyem Shakailem, a class 8 student from Eklavya Model Residential School secured the second and third positions respectively.

Cash prize of INR 10,000, INR 5000 and INR 3000 were given to the first, second and third place winners respectively.

A total of 25 schools with two participants from Dimapur and Chümoukedima district participated in the competition.

The judges of the competition were Yupangnenla Longkumer, personal secretary to Chief Minister of Nagaland, and Inakali Assumi, author and educator.
