DIMAPUR — The Commissioner of Police, Dimapur, has restricted the movement of heavy motor vehicles (HMV) beyond three axles on the Chathe (Patkai) River Bridge towards Kohima, with effect from 11 pm of October 25.
In a travel advisory, the CP informed that the restriction will remain in place till road safety audit of National Highway 2 (NH 2) is obtained from the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL).
The restriction is in compliance to the letter received from the Home Commissioner dated October 25.
