DIMAPUR — The Office of the Principal Accountant General (AE), Nagaland, has informed all state government employees that an SMS and web-based IT project has been launched for the benefit of state government employees.
The IT project is SMS-based and encapsulates entitlement functions like pension, GPF and GE. It aims to bring transparency at every stage of pension, GPF and payslip/leave/leave encashment finalisation by providing SMS to registered mobile numbers, a DIPR report stated.
For pension, the retiring officials will be intimated during receipt, clarification required if any and finalisation of the pension case. The SMS will provide a website link and temporary user ID and password (which has to be changed after logging in) to download the digitally signed personal copy of pension authorities (PPO intimation slip, GPO, CPO). To avail this facility, pensioners have been requested to furnish mobile numbers along with their pension documents.
For GPF, the subscribers will be intimated for receipt and finalisation of their respective GPF final payment case. The SMS will provide a website link and temporary user ID and password (to be changed after logging in) to download the digitally signed personal copy of the GPF final payment authority.
For GE, all gazetted officers will be intimated via SMS, which will provide a website link and temporary user ID and password (to be changed after logging in) to download their respective pay slip/LAR/LARR/LER once the same is authorised and uploaded on the website. To avail this facility, gazetted officers have been requested to furnish mobile numbers mentioning name, designation and department.
