Col. C K Nayudu Trophy: Goa and Nagaland match ends in draw

DIMAPUR — The Col. C K Nayudu Trophy match between Goa and Nagaland, which was underway at Sovima Cricket Ground, ended in a draw on Wednesday.

In the first inning, Goa scored 459 all out in 122 overs, with Shivendra H Bhujbal making 164 off 213 balls and Chittem Devankumar contributing 80 off 191 balls. Anil Gupta from Nagaland took 3 wickets for 80 runs.

In Nagaland’s first inning, the team was bowled out for 257 in 104.5 overs, with Mughavi Sumi scoring 56 off 62 balls. Shadab Khan from Goa took 3 wickets for 87 runs.

In Nagaland’s second inning, the team declared at 285 for 7 in 106.4 overs, with Yugandhar scoring 80 off 169 balls and Mughavi Sumi contributing 57 off 66 balls. Kaushal Hattangadi and Aryan Ajay Narvekar from Goa each took 2 wickets for 35 runs.
