DIMAPUR — The Kohima Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) has announced that, in view of the 25th edition of the Hornbill Festival from December 1 to the 10th, the issuance of application forms for the Hornbill Night Carnival in Kohima main town will begin on October 8.

The last date for form submission is October 26, according to a press release issued by the KCCI.

This year’s edition of the carnival will prioritise tribal home-based local entrepreneurs, particularly those involved in traditional ethnic foods and local cuisines, while also promoting other local entrepreneurs, self-help groups (SHGs), and non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

Noting that exorbitant rates on products will be strictly monitored, the release stated that the concept of the Hornbill Night Carnival is to provide wholesome family entertainment and to offer revellers in the capital city a safe and quality nightlife experience.

The carnival will also include a lucky draw as well as awards for the best innovative stall and the best decorative building.

For any related queries, individuals may approach the office of the KCCI at TU Building, main town, Kohima, or contact 6009570685, 8794869407, or 8837459960 during office hours.
