Leo Club inter-school table TT tournament concludes

DIMAPUR — The Anil Sarita Tongya 35th Leo Club inter-school table tennis tournament, organised by the Leo Club of Dimapur, concluded on October 6.

The closing ceremony was attended by Thungchanbemo Tungoe, CEO of Dimapur Municipal Council, as the chief guest and G Hekito Sema, president of Dimapur District Table Tennis Association, as the guest of honour, an update stated.

Tournament winners

Boys’ singles – David Hinglak (St. Edmund School)

Girls’ singles – Elita A Sangtam (Little Star Higher Secondary School)

Boys’ doubles – Shreyans Jain and Kihika (Delhi Public School)

Girls’ doubles – Tania Kachari and Elita A Sangtam (Little Star Higher Secondary School)

In the slogan contest, judged by Rini Ghose, founder and director of Serendip Guardians, Wewau of Little Star HSS won the first position, followed by Sneha Kumari of Shree Digambar Jain HSS and Nzanti of Little Star HSS in the second and third positions, respectively.

Earlier, in the inaugural ceremony, Garima Jain, global HR director of AI-based Data Observatory Organisation (title sponsor), was the chief guest, and Pradeep Goel, proprietor of Angami Plywood, the guest of honour.
