Interstate cricket tourney: Nagaland girls to face Sikkim in final  

DIMAPUR — Nagaland women’s cricket team secured their spot in the finals of the 1st NECDC Senior Women’s Interstate Tournament T20 after a thrilling bowl-out victory over Meghalaya on Friday.

A press release stated that the game, which was halted by rain, concluded with a 2-1 win in the bowl-out, sending Nagaland through to face Sikkim in tomorrow’s final.

“The journey of Nagaland cricket has been remarkable. With the senior men’s team recently winning the 2nd NECDC Interstate Friendship Tournament, the senior women’s team is now poised to follow suit, taking Nagaland cricket to new heights. A potential victory in the NECDC final would solidify Nagaland’s growing reputation as a cricketing force in the Northeast and beyond,” it stated.
