AITWPF 12th National Championship: Team NWA grabs 5 gold medals on second day

DIMAPUR — Wrestlers representing Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) grabbed 5 gold medals and 2 silver in the men & women cadet category on Friday at the ongoing AITWPF 12 National Traditional Wrestling & Pankration Championship 2024, Dehradun.

A press release informed that the winners in men’s category were Mulukhro Nakro, gold (66 kg); Kevilekho Peki, gold (59 kg); Nubasa Rhakho, gold (62 kg); and Mulübi Dzüdo, silver (59 kg).

In women’s category, the winners were Külüngolü Nakro, gold (42 kg); Khrielhounuo Thevo, gold (+60 kg); and Vetavolu Puyo-o, silver (+60 kg).

The senior category competition for both men and women will be played till October 6.
