GHC Kohima Bench announces major shake-up in state judiciary
DIMAPUR — Signalling a significant reshuffle within the state’s judicial hierarchy, the Kohima Bench of Gauhati High Court has announced the transfer of district judges affecting Phek, Tuensang, Mokokchung, Dimapur and Mon, as also the Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA).
In an order issued on Thursday, Ajongba Imchen, the Registrar of Kohima Bench GHC, notified that Neiko Akami, the District & Sessions Judge of Phek, has been transferred and posted as Member Secretary of NSLSA.
N Longshithung Ezung, the Principal District & Sessions Judge of Tuensang, has been transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge of Dimapur.
Victo Sema, Member Secretary of NSLSA, has been transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge of Mokokchung.
Inalo Zhimomi, the Principal District & Sessions Judge of Dimapur, has been transferred and posted as District & Sessions Judge of Mon.
Consequently, Tucuno Vamuzo, the District & Sessions Judge of Mon, has been transferred and posted as District & Sessions Judge of Phek.
Also, Somet Chumden Chang, the Principal District & Sessions Judge of Mokokchung, has been transferred and posted as Principal District & Sessions Judge of Tuensang.
