DIMAPUR — The Pochury Students’ Union (PSU) has extended its support and solidarity to the demand of the Concerned Aspirants Group (CAG) for age relaxation up to 37 years in respect of applying for state government jobs.

In a press release, the PSU said it is aware of the frustration and genuine demand of the group, as those who graduated prior to the COVID-19 pandemic lost two precious years because no competitive examinations were conducted during the pandemic.

‘Therefore, the Pochury Students’ Union fully supports and stands in solidarity with the Concerned Aspirants Group for age relaxation and urges the state government to increase the entry level to any government jobs/services to 37 years, in line with other states and act promptly with compassion before any examinations are conducted, providing equal opportunity to all the sections of the society,’ the union said.
