DIMAPUR — The 32nd edition of Loyem Memorial Trophy (LMT), organised by the Chang Wedoshi Setshang (Chang Students’ Conference) and Chang Sports Association, will be held from October 16 to the 31st at Loyem Memorial Astro-Turf Ground, Tuensang.
A press release from the organisers on Monday informed that the champions will receive INR 2.3 lakh, while the runner-up will get INR 1.2 lakh. The losing semi-finalists will receive a sum of INR 25,000 each and the individual prizes are: best player INR 20,000 along with a trophy, while golden-boot and golden glove winners will get INR 10,000 each.
This year’s edition of LMT will be an open championship. Therefore, the organisers have invited all players, clubs/teams within and outside the district to participate.
“In regard to any inconvenience in lodging for teams from outside Tuensang, the concerned clubs/teams are requested to co-ordinate to the organising committee,” it informed, adding that registration will be open from October 2 to the 12th.
Forms will be available at CWS Office, Kingsmen Hotel near GHSS Tuensang, and Onrush Cave, near Tower Clock.
