DIMAPUR — A two-day free distribution of washable menstrual kits, organised by Emerging North East Eco Forum (ENEEF) on behalf of Shashikiran Charitable Trust, New Delhi, and Mooncatcher, USA, was conducted on September 29 and 30 in Nuiland and Chümoukedima districts.
According to an update, on September 29, kits were handed over to KT Sukhalu, Advisor for Food and Civil Supplies, and MLA Phongsing Phom.
The ENEEF team, comprising Satyajit Aribam, founder, Vickram Maitei, co-founder, and Sentila Yanger, visited and distributed the free washable menstrual kits to girl students at United Village Government High School, Nuiland, and Diphupar Government Higher Secondary School on September 30.
The team also visited Polan John, DC Chümoukedima, and handed him the washable kits for free distribution to marginalised girl students in the district’s government schools.
