KAMS FC defeat Sesa Football Academy in I-League-3 playoffs

DIPHU — Karbi Anglong Morning Star Football Club (KAMS FC), representing Assam, secured a 3-2 victory against Sesa Football Academy from Goa in their second match of the I-League-3 playoffs, held at Kalyani Stadium, Kolkata, on Saturday.

In the first half, KAMS FC’s Jwngbla Brahma scored in the 48th minute, giving his team a 1-0 lead at halftime. In the second half, Kevisanyu Peseyie increased KAMS FC’s advantage with a goal in the 65th minute.

Substitute player Sharangthem Rajdan Singh sealed the victory with a goal in the 87th minute.

Sesa Football Academy made a late comeback, scoring two goals in extra time through Shlok Tiwari and Clive Miranda, resulting in a final score of 3-2.

KAMS FC’s next match is against Keinou Library & Sports Association (KLASA) from Manipur on September 30 at 3 pm.
