DIMAPUR — Christian Forum Dimapur (CFD) will commemorate its 25th anniversary on September 28 at Dimapur Sumi Baptist Church at 10 am on the theme “Witnessing God’s faithfulness.”
An update from CFD informed that Rev. Dr. Zelhou Keyho, general secretary of Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC), will be the key speaker of the celebration.
It stated that CFD has played a pivotal role in fostering unity, promoting interdenominational cooperation and advocating for social justice in the city. It added that CFD has stood as a beacon of hope and faith, reflecting on God’s unwavering faithfulness through its countless contributions to society over the last 25 years.
It added that CFD has been instrumental in bringing together Christians from different denominations under one platform since its inception. It added that CFD has initiated numerous community outreach programmes, supporting the marginalised, facilitating dialogue for peace and advocating for the welfare of the people of Dimapur.
Besides, CFD was at the forefront, providing aid to the vulnerable by distributing essential supplies, creating awareness and offering spiritual support during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Similarly, during the Manipur crisis, CFD played a key role in mobilising relief efforts and working alongside other organizations to bring aid to those affected, embodying Christ’s call to serve those in need.
Meanwhile, CFD has invited all well-wishers to the celebration.
