GHSS Medziphema, King David win in inter-school football tourney

DIMAPUR — In the ongoing eighth edition of the Inter-School Football Tournament at Medziphema local ground, on day three, GHSS Medziphema won against Modern Christian School, while King David Higher Secondary School defeated Chakhroma Baptist Mission School.

According to an update, in the match between GHSS Medziphema and Modern Christian School, the former won with 7 goals to none. The match was dominated by the GHSS boys from the first whistle.

Modern Christian School also had some flashy counterattacks but failed to rattle the opponent’s net. Kevineito, Letboison (two goals), Lhousakhoto (two goals), Henginthang, and Keviseyie were the scorers for GHSS Medziphema.

In the match between King David Higher Secondary School and Chakhroma Baptist Mission School, King David Higher Secondary School secured a convincing victory. Kezhavizo (three goals) and Rokosakhoto were the scorers for King David Higher Secondary School.
