DIMAPUR — A woman has filed an FIR application with Jalukie police alleging assault on a juvenile by a resident of Diphupar-A village in Chümoukedima district.
In the application, the woman, a resident of Jalukie town in Peren district, claimed that the boy was assaulted on September 20 by a man named Avio Dzivichu at Diphupar-A village. He was suspected of stealing a mobile phone.
“…the juvenile was physically harmed, and the nature of assault has caused severe physical and emotional distress,” it stated.
The incident has caused immense distress to the juvenile and the family, it added and requested the police to register an FIR.
