SBAK-Aizüto golden jubilee celebration concludes

KIPHIRE — A two-day golden jubilee celebration of SBAK-Aizüto, which was held on the theme “Triumph of joyful deliverance,” concluded on Thursday.

Rev. Daniel Chishi, executive secretary of SBAK-Aizüto, delivered a message about freedom from sin, hatred and bondage through Jesus Christ. He encouraged everyone to forgive their enemies and surrender everything to God saying, “God is merciful and forgives our sins, and we should do the same for each other.”

Dr. I Pihoto Khala, president of the executive council of SBAK-Aizüto, shared greetings.

The SBAK-Aizüto church in Kiphire was established in 1974 with limited resources and members. However, over the past five decades, the efforts of the pioneers have borne fruit and the church has witnessed God’s blessings.

Pastors, youth leaders and women pastors from all over Kiphire town attended the jubilee.

The jubilee celebration was a reminder for everyone, young and old, to reconnect with God, reflect on how blessed they are and live a true Christian life in the eyes of God and others.
