Imchaba Volleyball Trophy: United Changki dominates day-2

MOKOKCHUNG — On the second day of the 17th Imchaba Master Memorial Nagaland Open Volleyball Trophy underway at the Multi Sports Complex in Mokokchung, United Changki secured consecutive victories against Evergreen Club Ungma and Michazou Mima Kohima on Wednesday.

United Changki triumphed in straight sets, 25-19 and 25-21, against Evergreen Club and later dominated Michazou Mima Kohima with scores of 25-16 and 25-14.

Meanwhile, Ozumi secured a victory over Young Defender’s Club Tuensang with scores of 25-16 and 25-17. Ozumi has now two wins and one loss.

Yajang United secured their second victory by defeating Volleyball Team Unger in a close match with sets of 25-22, 18-25, and 15-10. Yajang United now has two wins and one loss, while Volleyball Team Unger has suffered their third consecutive loss.

MH 10 Kohima continued its winning streak by defeating Orija Club Khensa with scores of 25-19 and 25-17. Doyang Spiker, Wokha, faced fierce resistance from Archippus Club, Waromong, but managed to secure a victory with scores of 25-22, 22-25, and 15-7.

In another match, Eastern Pornado Tuensang secured their second win by defeating Tribal’s Club with scores of 25-20 and 25-18. Meanwhile, Evergreen Club Ungma, after two consecutive losses, earned their first victory of the tournament by beating Tongden Club Chungtia 25-18 and 25-17.
