Red Cross conducts first aid training in Kohima

DIMAPUR — The Indian Red Cross Society, Nagaland state branch, conducted a basic first aid training session on Tuesday at Kevi Children Home, A G Colony, Kohima, to equip participants with essential life-saving skills and raise awareness about the importance of first aid in emergency situations.

A total of 10 participants from Kevi Children Home attended the session, which covered fundamental aspects of first aid, according to a press release.

Resource persons from the Indian Red Cross Society provided hands-on demonstrations. The session emphasised the importance of staying calm in emergencies and highlighted the role of first aid in saving lives before professional medical help arrives.
