Shiheli Old Age Home organises free holistic medical camp
DIMAPUR — Shiheli Old Age Home organised a free holistic medical camp at its premises at Ganesh Nagar, Chümoukedima, on September 14.
The medical camp was opened to individuals of all age groups, irrespective of tribe or religion, who were ailing physically, mentally or spiritually, an update stated.
General medicine, ENT treatment, psychotherapy, clinical counselling, spiritual counselling, and massage therapy were the facilities provided at the camp.
The camp was attended by about 250 individuals residing in the surrounding areas such as Doyapur village, Ganesh Nagar, Lothavi village, Pahar Bosti, Lhokheto village, AK Industrial village, Khekiho village.
Dr. Renbeni Yepthomi and Dr. Kanato Assumi provided allopathic health care; Linoto Assumi provided psychotherapy; Lovitoli Awomi and Angukali Shohe clinical counselling; Ahoje Yeptho, Hovini K Yeputho and Inashi K Awomi spiritual counseling, while Itovi Chophi, Sulika Chophi and Hotoli V Chophi provided massage therapy.

The old age home was founded by Toholi Chisho as a safe haven for elderly persons in need of care and assistance.
“The objective of the home is to ensure complete physical and spiritual wellbeing of the residents,” it stated.
