CM, press clubs condole demise of Daisy Yaden

DIMAPUR — Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has condoled the demise of Daisy Yaden, mother of Geoffrey Yaden, publisher and editor-in-chief of the Nagaland Post, who passed away on Wednesday morning.

Rio, in a condolence note, described Daisy as a woman of faith filled with compassion who was known for selflessly helping those in need, especially women and children belonging to the marginalised section of society.

He added that she was a recipient of the Governor’s Medal for her benevolent contributions as a social worker, who always advocated for self-sufficiency and discipline in life.

Besides her contributions to the Naga society, Rio stated that she was also a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and a great grandmother who always stood by her family and taught her children to be humble and guided them to become responsible and contributing members of the society.

He added that she would always be remembered for her warmth, kindness and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind. He further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for peace for the departed soul.

DPC: The Dimapur Press Club (DPC) also mourned the demise of Daisy Yaden.

The club extended its heartfelt condolences to Yaden’s family during this difficult time, offering prayers that they find strength and solace in God and that the soul of the departed may rest in perfect peace.

KPC: The Kohima Press Club (KPC) stated in its condolence note that she will be remembered as an extraordinary woman who devoted her life to uplifting the underprivileged and the illiterate in society.

The KPC extended its deepest sympathy to the bereaved family and prayed that God would bestow upon them the strength to bear this immense loss.

MPC: The Mokokchung Press Club (MPC) expressed its deepest condolences to Geoffrey Yaden and his family in a condolence note.

The club prayed that they find unwavering strength and comfort and that the departed soul may rest in eternal peace.
