Assam Rifles observes International Literacy Day

DIMAPUR — Assam Rifles conducted a lecture and interactive session with students, teachers, and locals on the occasion of International Literacy Day in the Indo-Myanmar border villages of Tukhinkiu and Dan, Noklak district, on Sunday.

The event aimed to promote the importance of education and saw participation from students, teachers, and villagers, according to an update.

Speaking on the occasion, the troops of Assam Rifles highlighted the significance of literacy as a tool for empowerment and encouraged students to pursue education with dedication.

The day was also observed at Little Angels Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, which saw an attendance of 46 students and seven teachers.
