ANCSU reminds students of scholarship application dates

DIMAPUR — The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has informed students concerned that the scholarship application for the Post Matric ST Scholarship will be available from September 6 until November 24 via the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) at scholarships.gov.in.

In a press release, it further stated that the NEC-Merit Scholarship, National Scholarship for Post Graduate Studies, and Ishan Uday Special Scholarship will be available from September 6 to October 31 via scholarships.gov.in.

The State Merit and Research Scholarship will also be available from September 6 to October 31 via the Common Scholarship Portal at scholarship.nagaland.gov.in.

“Students may visit the given websites and go through the instructions and guidelines of scholarships adequately to be informed of the schemes,” it said, adding that students should apply for the scholarships within the stipulated time and date to avoid any consequences. It also reminded students that one-time registration (OTR) will be required to apply for scholarship schemes under the NSP.

ANCSU further appealed to students to apply only for scholarships for which they are entitled or eligible. It also requested educational institutes to provide access to computer labs or set up provisions within the institutions for students to apply for scholarships either for free or at a nominal fee.
