DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Strongman and Fitness Association (NSFA), under the aegis of the All India Traditional Wrestling and Pankration Federation (AITWPF), will be taking part in the 5th World Nomad Games 2024 in Astana, Kazakhstan, from September 8 to the 14th.
According to NSFA president, Keduovilie Zumu, the first Naga to take part in the strongman championship in the international arena in 2017, the team comprises of three members with NSFA general secretary Vechita Khesoh as team manager.
Sedevizo Keretsü, the three-time Nagaland’s strongest man title holder and also the silver medallist in the north east and national levels, will participate in the +100 kg category and Vizobeile Rame will compete in the 90 kg category.
Meanwhile, a short prayer and sent off ceremony was held Thursday morning in Dimapur where pastor Velhuzo Swuro invoked God’s blessing.
