DIMAPUR — To celebrate diverse talents and creativities of the youth, the office of the District Youth Resources Officer (DYRO), Mokokchung, has decided to organise a district-level youth festival on September 16 at its office premises.
The festival would feature a variety of competitions including folk dance, folk song, painting and declamation. The event has been designed to provide a platform for young individuals to showcase their skills and express their creativities, stated a DIPR report.
It stated that there would be cash award for the winners in all categories. Winners at the district-level would get the opportunity to represent Mokokchung district at the state-level youth festival scheduled to be held in Kohima on September 26 and 27.
The DYRO of Mokokchung has invited interested clubs or youth groups in the age group of 15 to 29 years to get themselves register at the office on or before September 14 during office hours.
