Technical fault disrupts power supply in Tuensang, Noklak, Shamator districts of Nagaland
DIMAPUR — The Power department, government of Nagaland, has informed that power supply to Tuensang, Noklak and Shamator district has been disrupted due to some technical fault developed at the 66/33KV, 10 MVA Power Transformer, Tuensang sub-station under transmission division Mokokchung, on August 30.
“The department is making all possible arrangements to rectify the problem,” said an update from DIPR, adding that an emergency arrangement has been put in place to supply power to the affected areas from the existing 5 MVA transformer.
In view of this arrangement, there will be “frequent load restrictions till the 10 MVA Power Transformer is fully restored and charged”, said the Power department, urging consumers to bear with the inconveniences amid efforts to resolve the issue at the earliest.
