DIMAPUR — The Career Guidance Committee of Sao Chang College (SCC), Tuensang, in collaboration with the Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission, organised a one-day sensitisation programme on ‘Deen Dayal Upadhyaya – Grameen Kaushalya Yojana’ on August 24.
The objective of the programme was to disseminate information and raise awareness about the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya – Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY), an update stated.
The resource persons highlighted the skill training courses offered to rural youth to enhance their employability and reduce unemployment in rural areas. They also shared the success stories of several trainees who are now able to earn a living and support their families through the DDU-GKY schemes.
The programme was attended by the principal, eight assistant professors, and 150 students.
