Zunheboto district celebrates World Photography Day
DIMAPUR — Photography Club Zunheboto (PCZ) celebrated World Photography Day on August 19 at the Multi-purpose Hall in Zunheboto town.
Kitoshe Y Aye, superintending engineer of PHED and special guest of the programme, urged to promote photography for documentation and also encouraged the photographers to do their best.
“Photography doesn’t have a language but when your eye sees and take the picture, it gives smile and memories to others,” Kitoshe said.
He also spoke on how every picture taken by photographer inspires one in their daily life.
He concluded by advising the members to take on more challenges in their profession for better opportunities.
The programme was chaired by Alotoli Kiho, PCZ finance secretary, while an invocation prayer was said by Veto Sümi, associate pastor of SBCZ, and the presidential address was delivered by Hokato Yepthomi.
A song was presented by Mughato Achumi, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Tünato Achumi, PCZ general secretary, and concluded with a benediction said by Nupato Zhimo, youth leader of ZTSBC.
