DIMAPUR — The Naga Students’ Union Delhi (NSUD) organised a blood donation camp on August 17 in collaboration with the Special Police Unit for North East Region (SPUNER), AIIMS Delhi, BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital, and Fortis Hospital.
The camp was organised to ensure the availability of blood for Naga patients in urgent need, according to a press release. Three donation sites were set up for this purpose at the three hospitals.
PN Khrimey, joint commissioner for SPUNER/SPUWAC and nodal officer for the NE region, and Kuolie Mere, deputy director, IPR, Government of Nagaland, visited the donation sites. They lauded the service rendered by the donors and commended the union for the initiative.
The camp was attended by more than 80 individuals from the Naga and other communities.
