DIMAPUR — Baptist Higher Secondary School, Jalukie ‘B,’ Ngurie Organic Private Limited, Sound King Nagaland and Pumling Frames and Lightings have jointly organised a Genesis Science Expo-cum-career talk at the auditorium of Baptist Higher Secondary School, Jalukie ‘B’ on Saturday on the theme “Igniting tomorrow’s innovation today.”
The inaugural programme of Genesis Science Expo 2024 was attended by Armstrong Pame, director of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, as the chief guest, state a DIPR report.
In his inaugural speech, Armstrong stated that he was from the rural areas where light and road connectivity came only in the year 2012. Comparing his earlier life as a student, he encouraged the students not to live in comfort zone during their learning stage but go through struggles in life in order to achieve and fulfil their dreams.
He encouraged the students to look at perspective of someone, who have achievement success through determination and to fix their minds on books and studying hard to achieve their goals. He also suggested to maintain study diary, day to day routine and to seek God, who can do all things possible.
Speeches were also delivered by Peihauding Reunim, CEO of Kendew Coaching Centre, and Pehiato, administrator of Baptist Higher Secondary School, Jalukie B.
Rev. Heuziebe, pastor of Jalukie ‘B’ Baptist Church, said the invocation prayer and shared the words of God basing on Job 28: 28.
The panellists of the programme were Johnny Ruangmei, joint chief executive officer of NSDMA; Noel Mathiulungbo Chawang, Scientist D at National Remote Sensing Centre of ISRO; Hiazu Meru, deputy commissioner of Peren; Swarai Meru, chief engineer of PWD; Keyirangding Hegui, ADC of Zunheboto; Dr. Ilang, chief veterinary officer; Rev. Dr. Mongzeung Mpom, pastor of Jalukie Town Local Baptist Church; Zaiyigum Zeliang, co-founder of Zeliang Codetech, and Dr. Suiyipeu Mpom, veterinary assistant surgeon.
