MLA Imtichoba flags off school bus in Tuensang village
DIMAPUR — Member of Nagaland Legislative Assembly (MLA), Imtichoba, flagged off a school bus at the office of Tuensang Village Students’ Union (TVSU) in Tuensang district on Saturday.
Speaking at the function, Imtichoba thanked all the public of his constituency for giving him the platform to serve the community, especially the students. He expressed hope that the hardship faced by the students studying in town would be greatly eased with the introduction of bus service.
He also assured to address the grievances of the public and raised their problems as elected representative from his constituency in the days to come.
In her short speech, the deputy commissioner of Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, thanked and appreciated the good work done by the MLA towards the students community. She also appreciated the students’ union for their tireless work and urged them to preserve and take ownership of the vehicle for the uplift of the students in the village.
The programme was chaired by N Nasen Kundang and the welcome address was delivered by Nabum Tonbou, executive members.
A short speech was also delivered by N Kaimangb, president of TVCU, while the dedicatory prayer was said by Rev. T Mongba, pastor of TSBL.
Later in the afternoon, the MLA also inaugurated Palak-Sangpayou road in Tuensang village.
