BJP Nagaland organises cleanliness drives, bike rallies
DIMAPUR — In the run-up to the 78th Independence Day of India, BJP Nagaland and its various constituents conducted several activities throughout the state on Tuesday.
The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, Kohima district, led by president Menovikho Viyie, organised a bike rally in Kohima as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, which was flagged off by Kohima district BJP president Khrielie Usou.
It was attended by state chief spokesperson Thomas Magh, state IT cell representatives, district officials, and the Mahila Morcha Kohima district team, according to a press release. The BJP Kohima district also conducted a cleanliness drive in the Secretariat area earlier in the morning.

In Phek, a cleanliness drive was conducted at the house where Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose stayed in Ruzazho village. Additionally, a bike rally was organised with party karyakartas by state secretary Vecita Khesoh and district president Vekho Swuro.
In Wokha, Deputy Chief Minister and BLP leader Y Patton led the Swachh Bharat campaign with the party karyakartas. In Mon, district officials and party karyakartas conducted a cleanliness drive at the local ground in Mon HQ.
In Dimapur, BJP Nagaland conducted a cleanliness drive. Anil K Antony, national secretary and spokesperson, and prabhari of Nagaland, also attended the campaign along with state officials, BJP Dimapur district president, colleagues, and party karyakartas.
It was also reported that bike rallies and cleanliness drives were held in all districts and mandals across the state.
