Moya Cluster win 3rd Metumnyo Volleyball Championship

DIMAPUR — The 3rd Metumnyo Volleyball Championship was held in Pungro from August 7 to 8, organised by the Legend Club Pungro in collaboration with the Pungro Sports Association.

According to an update, themed ‘Engaging through sports towards unity’, the event brought together 14 teams.

Moya Cluster from Moya village emerged as the champion, winning the trophy and a cash prize of INR 10,000. Royal United from Penkim Village secured the runner-up position, receiving INR 7,000. The semi-finalists, Zaonger Village and Longpotrup Sporting Club from Longkimvong, were each awarded INR 2,000.

It was mentioned that the championship received support from various organisations, including the Yimkhiung Sports Association, Yimkhiung Youth Organisation, Yimkhiung Akherü Arihako, and Yimkhiung Women Organisation.
