Assam Rifles holds security coordination meeting in Kiphire

DIMAPUR — Assam Rifles conducted a security coordination meeting with the locals aimed at strengthening cooperation at Thanamir village, Kiphire district.

According to an update, during the meeting, various security aspects were highlighted and discussed in detail. The villagers were briefed on the ongoing Manipur crisis and suggested measures to avoid conflicts among tribes in Nagaland.

The villagers were assured of full support if needed and of the Assam Rifles‘ commitment to their safety and security.

The villagers assured their support to the security forces in maintaining peace and harmony in the area and pledged to contain any illegal activities, it said.
