Nagaland CM, Dy CM extend Tsungremmong greetings
DIMAPUR — Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton extended greetings to the Ao community as they celebrate Tsungremmong.
“May the festivities be filled with happiness and lasting memories”, Rio wrote on X, conveying greetings as the community celebrates “the pre-harvest festival of thanksgiving, seeking God’s blessings for a bountiful harvest”.

In a press note, Patton noted that the festival, which is celebrated through merry making and feasting, is also a time when the young and old come out in their colourful attires and take part.
On behalf of the state BJP legislators, the Dy. CM conveyed festive greetings and expressed hope that it is celebrated with joy and happiness.
