DIMAPUR — PM-Vishwakarma scheme launch programme was held at DPDB hall in Kiphire town on Wednesday.
The deputy commissioner of Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer, in his welcome address, highlighted some programme components like skill development, access to finance, technology adoption, marketing linkages etc. He informed that the scheme aimed at fostering innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship for all round development, stated a DIPR report.
He also expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for his love towards the people of Kiphire district in Nagaland. He further urged the participants to give the best during the training.
Short speeches were delivered by the joint director of Employment and Skill Development, Alongse Sangtam, and SEC PM-VKS, Pravin Yadav.
The programme was followed with distribution of PM-VKS ID cards to the beneficiaries.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by EAC of Kiphire, Takatemjen Pongen.
