Japfϋ Christian College celebrates freshers’ day
DIMAPUR — Japfϋ Christian College celebrated its 28th freshers’ social on Tuesday at the college premises in Kohima with Khrienuo Tachϋ, former chairperson of the Nagaland State Commission for Women and retired director of the DWRD, as guest of honour.
According to a press release, in her speech, Tachü reminisced about the joy and significance of student life and encouraged the freshers to adhere to the college motto, “Faith and work,” in order to lead a successful and God-fearing life.
On the occasion, the college also honoured alumni who had been successful in the Nagaland Public Service Commission examinations.
It was mentioned that the event was organised to create a warm and inclusive environment for new students to meet their peers, learn about campus life, and begin their academic journey on a positive note.
