DIMAPUR — Dimapur Police recovered the body of an unidentified non-Naga male, estimated to be between 30 and 45 years old, on Saturday from the auto parking area near the main gate of Dimapur Railway Station.
According to an update, at around 3:30 pm, the police received a written memo from the station master of Dimapur Railway Station, stating that a dead body had been found lying in the auto parking area.
The police personnel on duty immediately rushed to the spot and found the body. After completing all legal formalities, the body was transferred to the District Hospital Dimapur morgue for post-mortem examination and identification.
The deceased was wearing a khaki half-pant and blue jeans, without a shirt, and was barefoot.
Claimants, relatives, or friends of the deceased have been requested to contact the officer-in-charge at the Government Railway Police Station, Dimapur (7085055021).
