Orientation on MPCDSR for healthcare workers held in Longleng
DIMAPUR — A one-day district level review meeting-cum-orientation on Maternal Paternal Child Death Surveillance and Response (MPCDSR) and RMNCAH+N for healthcare workers was held in the conference hall of the chief medical officer (CMO) in Longleng town on Tuesday.
An update from the CMO stated that the district programme officer of RCH/UIP, Dr. Imtijungshi Aier, has stressed on the importance of key performance indicators under ROP-NHM, Anaemia Mukth Bharat, key activities under child health, high risk pregnancy and ePMSMA, key activities under family planning, JSY and JSSK, while the DPM (QA), Munu Vero, highlighted on SUMAN, Laqshya, NQAS and kayakalp.
In the second session, DPM (NHM), Mongko Chollen, spoke on reproductive child health and ANMOL, while the DCM (NHM), Putusola, spoke on community participation and village health sanitation and nutrition day (VHSND).
The orientation-cum review meeting was attended by medical officers, community health officers, consultants of UPHC, ANM, GNM, DPMU staff and block programme managers.
