Assam Rifles conducts various activities in Arunachal Pradesh

DIMAPUR — The Assam Rifles (AR) organised several events in Arunachal Pradesh over the past couple of days, focusing on security and youth.

On July 14, the Assam Rifles hosted local security meet at Jairampur to address security-related issues faced by the locals and to gather suggestions for infrastructure enhancements in their respective villages.

It was attended by 23 leaders from various villages in and around Jairampur, said an update from PRO, HQ IGAR (North).

The Assam Rifles also organised awareness campaign at Pumao and Hedman on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day on Monday, to educate youths and students about various government schemes, skill development opportunities and career prospects available to them.

“The lecture covered a range of topics, including personal development, digital literacy, vocational training, and government aids and schemes for local and traditional skills,” read the update.

The Assam Rifles also organised a lecture on career opportunities in the Armed Forces at Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Kharsang in Changlang district, to inspire and inform students about the opportunities available in military service, it was informed.
