MLA Pongshi inaugurates fuel outlet in Longleng

DIMAPUR — Member of legislative assembly (MLA), A Pongshi Phom, inaugurated the Shamakok fuel station in Longleng town on July 5.

Speaking at the inaugural programme, Phom congratulated the proprietor of Shamakok fuel station, S Yanger Angh, for his contribution towards the community by coming up with another fuel station in Longleng town. As the fuel station is located on the highway, Phom stated that it would help in solving the fuel problems in the district.

He further encouraged the public to make the best use of the facility and to protect it as their own.

The dedicatory prayer was said by N Tialemba Phom, PBCA executive secretary, and short speeches were delivered by Meyizungba, SDO (Civil) of Longleng; YB Angam, president of PPC; and Khamnyei Phom, chairman of Orangkong village council.

I Imlti Phom chaired the programme, while an invocation prayer was said by Pangpent Phom, pastor of Orangkong Baptist Church, and concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the proprietor, S Yanger Angh.

Report stated that representative from various organisations, public leaders and well-wishers attended the inaugural programme.
