Nagaland University declares provisional results of UG courses

KOHIMA — The Nagaland University (NU) on Saturday has declared the provisional results of three-year under-graduate courses — Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com), Bachelor of Science (B Sc), Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) – the exams of which were conducted in May.

As per the result notification issued by NU, the overall pass percentage is 73.47 per cent, with 6,197 students out of the 8,435 appeared passing the exams.

Course-wise performance

BA (General): A total of 2,436 appeared the exam, out of which 1,559 passed, registering a pass percentage of 64 per cent.

BA (Honours): As many as 3,892 passed the exam out of 4,896 students, recording a pass percentage of 79.49 per cent.

B.Sc. (General): Out of 19 students who wrote the exam, 14 passed, thus registering a pass percentage of 73.68 per cent.

B.Sc. (Honours): A total of 195 appeared the exam, out of which 115 passed, registering a pass percentage of 58.97 per cent.

B.Com. (General): A total of 30 students passed, out 71 who wrote the exam, recording a pass percentage of 42.25 per cent.

B.Com. (Honours): Out of 684 students who wrote the exam, 479 passed, thus registering a pass percentage of 70.03 per cent.

BBA (General): A total of 81 appeared the exam, out of which 74 passed, registering a pass percentage of 91.36 per cent.

BCA (General): As many as 34 students passed the exam out of 53 who appeared, recording a pass percentage of 64.15 per cent.

The university has informed college principals/ authorised personnel to collect marksheets during the office hours from July 11 onwards.

It updated that application for correction in the marksheets, if any, shall be submitted to the university within one month from the date of declaration of result along with justification and accompanied by original marksheets.

It further added that re-evaluation through the respective college principals should be submitted at Lumami during office hours on or before July 24. Individual applications from students and those submitted after the due date will not be entertained.
