GPRN/NSCN holds induction programme

DIMAPUR — The GPRN/NSCN led by its president, Maj. (retired) R M Lotha, and Ato kilonser, N Kitovi Zhimomi, held a joint council meeting-cum-induction of tatars, deputy kilonsers and kilonsers at 5th Mile, Chümoukedima.

Speaking on the occasion, Kitovi Zhimomi exhorted the members on the importance of Naga peace talk based on the Agreed Position and assured to collectively execute a way forward to achieve Naga political solution without much delay.

A press release issued by its MIP stated all the members present have reaffirmed the May 28, 2024, resolution to fully support the collective leadership, Maj. (retired) RM Lotha, as the president; Chennyeim Konyak as vice president; N Kitovi Zhimomi as Ato kilonser; and Jungshiwati Ao as deputy Ato kilonser.

Besides, the members unequivocally pledged to uphold the Agreed Position signed on November 17, 2017, between the Government of India and WC, NNPGs and to actively strive towards nurturing peace and harmony and secure a brighter future for the upcoming young Naga generation.
