DIMAPUR — Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Dimapur Tinojongshi Chang has announced that a second round of training for microobservers to counting observer, tabulators, counting supervisors, counting assistants, microobservers for counting, and MTS for EVM transportation will take place on June 3.
According to an update, it will be held at the DC conference hall at 11 am, and all of the officials mentioned have been instructed to attend the training without fail.
The DC and District Election Officer (DEO), Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji, has also informed all concerned that the final training session for AROs, counting officials, and staff will be held on June 3 at Town Hall, Mokokchung, starting at 1 pm.
According to a DIPR report, all concerned parties have been requested to attend the training without fail.
Trainings held at Tseminyu, Mon
Training for counting supervisors, counting assistants, and microobservers for the general election to the Lok Sabha took place on Saturday at Town Hall in Tseminyu.
The DC and DEO, Tseminyu Rohit Singh, highlighted the election procedure and asked the officials to reach the counting hall by 7 am on the counting day. He also urged the counting officials to be well prepared.
In respect of 41 to 48 and 55 assembly segments under Mon district, the second phase of training for counting officials was conducted on Saturday at Town Council Hall, Mon town.
ADC Mon, K Temjennaro Longkumer, giving a briefing on the roles and responsibilities of the counting officials, stated that although zero voting was reported in the district, everything will be done as per the procedure.
She appealed to the counting officials to pay attention during the training and also to be on time on the counting day to avoid any untoward situation.
