NPDA resolve not to pay ‘monetary contribution’ to Naga political groups
DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Private Doctors Association (NPDA) has resolved not to pay any monetary contribution to any organisation including the Naga political groups (NPGs).
This was resolved during a meeting of the association held on May 25, which deliberated on reports of several hospitals being issued notice by various “Naga national workers” to make monetary contributions to their organisations, the NPDA informed in a press release.
The association appealed to the Naga national workers to take into consideration the humanitarian services rendered to the public by the medical profession and to provide a conducive working atmosphere for every medical professional.
In the meeting, the NPDA also unanimously agreed to extend professional medical services whenever required, the release stated.
