DIMAPUR — The GPRN/NSCN issued a statement endorsing the collective leadership of its President Gen. (Retd.) MB Neokpao Konyak, and the new Ato Kilonser, Alezo Venuh, to continue carrying the Naga political issue forward under the banner of Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups (WC-NNPG), with the government of India till its logical conclusion.
A declaration to this effect was made after a National Tatar Hoho session at the Khehoyi designated camp on Wednesday, it said.
While the GPRN/NSCN did not mention whether the former Ato Kilonser, N Kitovi Zhimomi will continue as the WC-NNPG convenor, sources said that the co-convenors of the committee will be meeting on Thursday to discuss the matter.
