Awareness-cum-registration drive on ABDM held in Wokha
DIMAPUR — One-day awareness-cum-registration drive on Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) was held at the CMO conference hall, Wokha, on Tuesday.
The event was aimed to equip health professionals and health facilities within Wokha district, and update from CMO office, Wokha stated.
The ABDM team was led by Dr. Nyanthung Kikon, the state nodal officer for ABDM, along with Dr. S Yingnei Konyak, nodal officer (Admin) for ABDM, Neipukhriezo Tetso, joint director (IT) for ABDM, and their associates.
Dr. Zubenthung Kikon, CMO Wokha, welcomed the ABDM team and lauded their efforts in organising the training session. The CMO urged the trainees to be sincere in learning how to implement ABDM in their respective health units.
Earlier, Dr. Nyanthung Kikon presented a comprehensive overview on ABDM, emphasising its role as a digital gateway within the Department of Health and Family Welfare. He also stressed on the importance for trainees to register in the Health Professional Registry (HPR) for individual health professionals and the Health Facility Registry (HFR) for healthcare units. Registration enables visibility within the ABDM ecosystem, facilitating participation in health insurance schemes like the Chief Minister Health Insurance and Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, he added.
Dr. Kikon, underscored the mission’s objective of establishing a digital health ecosystem, ensuring easy access to healthcare services for patients across health centres.
The training sessions covered key components of ABDM, including the Ayushman Bharat Health account number, health care professional registry, health facility registry, and ABDM initiatives. Practical sessions were conducted, culminating in an onsite registration drive for HPR and HFR, enabling immediate engagement with the mission.
