Postal voting scheduled for Longleng absentee voters

DIMAUR — The district commissioner and district election officer of Longleng announced the schedule for postal voting, as per the guidelines from the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland.

This concerns absentee voters in the AVPD, AVSC, AVCO, and AVES categories. Specifically, absentee voters categorised under AVES (essential service) can cast their votes from April 15 to April 17 between 9 am and 5 pm at the postal voting centre (PVC), conference room of the DC office in Longleng, according to a DIPR report.

All absentee voters (AVs) whose Form 12D has been verified and confirmed have been informed to go and cast their votes on the date, time, and venue specified. It further emphasised that this office has received no applications for Form 12D from absentee voters in categories AVSC, AVPD, and AVCO.
