NU students excel at inter-university national youth festival
Students and faculty members of Nagaland University during the 37th Inter University National Youth Festival ‘Hulara,’ held at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana.

DIMAPUR — Students from Nagaland University (NU) showcased their exceptional talents at the 37th Inter University National Youth Festival ‘Hulara,’ held at Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, from March 28 to April 1.

Led by Dr. Rishikesh Fauzdar from the Department of Law and Dr. Gyati Yam from the Department of Forestry, a total of 18 students represented Nagaland University at the event, stated an update from PRO in-charge, NU Lumami campus.

Displaying their dedication, skill and hard work, the Nagaland University team won three impressive trophies including second position in folk dance, second position in western group song and fourth position in the cultural procession

Vice Chancellor of NU Prof. Jagadish Kumar Patnaik, Registrar Dr. Abemo, Dean of Student Welfare Prof. Wangshimenla and all the faculties, officers, and staff of the university joined in congratulating the team for their outstanding performance.

“The success of Nagaland University at the ‘Hulara’ festival underscores the institution’s commitment to nurturing talent and providing platforms for students to showcase their skills on a national level. The university looks forward to further opportunities for its students to excel and make significant contributions to society,” the update stated.
